Nancy Schaefer and Child Protection Services Nancy Schaefer exposed the abuses of CPS and the international child sex slavery ring. She was a conservative legislator who served in the Georgia State Senate from 2004 to 2008. On November 16, 2007, she published a report entitled "The Corrupt Business of Child Protective Services." (Link in comments below.) On March 26, 2010, Nancy Schaefer and her husband Bruce were found killed in their home. She was shot in the back, and her husband was shot in the chest. It was ruled murder/suicide.
