I know there’s a war in Gaza and I also want it to end, but the media is showing only one side of what’s happening. I follow hundreds of such accounts from Gaza, and this also came out today from inside Gaza (link in the first comment). Why doesn’t the media show a full and truthful picture of reality? Who does this serve? And more importantly: why are the Israeli hostages being starved while this is happening?

This is a sick and twisted LIE. Avital Aladjem, a member of Kibbutz Sufa, is the woman in this video. The children are not her own. On Saturday, terrorists broke into her home, killed her friends and neighbors, and took her and some of the now orphaned children into Gaza. This is a crazy story about a photo that portrays the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians perfectly. In 2008, Idan Raichel, one of Israel’s most beloved artists, volunteered to perform for children brought from Gaza by Save a Child’s Heart. This organization saves kids from all over the world,including Palestinians, and brings them to Israel for life-saving treatments. After the show, Raichel posed for a photo with one of the children and his father, a small moment, a beautiful picture, a memory of human kindness. But now, years later, that picture has resurfaced and found in Gaza by the IDF. It turns out the father was a Hamas operative, and the child Israel saved, the one who got a second chance at life, grew up to become a Hamas terrorist.

Hey Dave Smith, I heard you said that Gaza might not be exactly like Auschwitz, but it definitely "shares the characteristics of a concentration camp" (your quote), referring to the life in Gaza before October 7th. Here are two videos out of hundreds I found that were posted by GAZANS on TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat showing Gaza before October 7th. Would you at the very least like to retract that statement? Let me know if you need more info.
