Moved to Dubai a month ago… Then two drones exploded next to our building, I was listed #3 on the UAE public prosecutor’s list for “publishing illegal content” (the video of the Fairmont on fire that got 1.7m views) resulting in my X account being banned across the country, followed by another week of hiding in the basement due to constant barrages of missiles and drones. Then a couple days ago after Marina 23 and the airport got hit I decided we’ve pushed our luck far enough. Made our way over the border into Oman the night before last and flew out this morning. Good luck to everyone in the GCC. But if you have the means to get out – I suggest you do so. Don’t FAFO.

I actually liked Muscat a lot. Mountains in the backdrop, crystal clear water at perfect temperature, no skyscrapers, no lambos, safe, clean. If Oman does not repeat the mistakes of its neighbor and creates a walkable, authentic city, and insures freedom of speech!! – I can see it taking some market share.

While the top 50 bled 10-20% this week, Canton $CC is up 27.5%. Only other green coin: Hyperliquid. Been talking about $CC for over a month. The thesis was simple: Institutional blockchain with mandatory burns for cross-institution settlement. Goldman, BNP, DTCC routing production infrastructure through it. Burn/mint ratio climbing from 0.15 to 0.65 in six months, approaching deflationary equilibrium. Markets don't care about narratives when risk-off. They care about fundamentals. $CC burns 14% of its market cap annually. That number goes parabolic when DTCC launches later this year. BlackRock just filed showing 2.2% ownership of Tharimmune $THAR - the first public Canton treasury company (something also shared in Signal Labs early). Quality finds support even when everything else capitulates.
