Deep beneath an ancient church in Gethsemane, Jerusalem, lies the Tomb of the Virgin Mary. After her death, the Apostles carried Mary here and laid her body in this rock-cut tomb, before she was taken body and soul into Heaven. For centuries Christians have descended into this underground church to pray at the final earthly resting place of the Mother of our Lord, a holy site closely connected with the Dormition and Assumption celebrated on 15 August.

Used to love going Dovedale when I was a kid with my parents on a Sunday afternoon in the summer. Walk across the stepping stones, make our way up to the caves. Steady walk back to the car. Then the lefties said the English countryside was racist and it needs more "diversity".....this is the result. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
