Ever felt sudden distractions in ṣalāh? The Prophet ﷺ revealed the solution and also the name of the devil behind it. Companion Uthman ibn Abi al-As said: I said: “O Messenger of Allah, the devil interferes between me and my prayer and my recitation, confusing me.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “That is a devil called Khinzab. If you feel his presence, seek refuge with Allah from him and spit lightly (dry blow) to your left three times.” He said: I did that, and Allah removed him from me. 📖 Sahih Muslim, Hadith 2203

‘Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp, the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a brilliant star, lit from a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire.
