I think the weirdest part of the IDC Beijing opening wasn’t just that a robot danced on stage. It was the setup. AGIBOT A2 walked out first, introduced itself, then brought A3 out of a box for a short performance before turning to IDC CEO Lorenzo Larini for a live exchange. Then Lorenzo said: “Now I am being upstaged. By a Chinese robot. In Beijing.” Not because the line was funny. Because it sounded genuinely unscripted. Like someone realizing mid-sentence that the industry had already moved further than expected.

Day 2 of the Avoko 48-hour Challenge. 🔜 I tried something a bit different today. Instead of just testing outputs for the challenge, I wanted to see how an agent actually reasons through a decision. I asked it to explain how it would decide. Gave it a simple prompt: “Monolith vs atomic APIs, how would you choose?” Recorded what happened.
