From inside an underground Israeli detention facility, with his features barely recognizable after severe beatings, Palestinian doctor Hussam Abu Safiya said he had been transferred to another prison in preparation for his murder. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) must visit Dr. Abu Safiya immediately and ensure his safety. The world must not allow yet another doctor to be killed!

Earlier this morning, Israeli aircraft flattened a high-rise residential building in western #Gaza City, killing around 15 displaced Palestinians who had sought safety there. Over the past week alone, Israel has levelled dozens of residential buildings across Gaza City, killing civilians and uprooting thousands of families. These systematic attacks form part of Israel’s declared policy to forcibly empty Gaza City of its residents, an act of collective punishment, forcible transfer, and genocide that has been waged against Palestinians since October 2023.
