I don’t really understand some of the directorial decisions made in Episode 3. The trailer’s version of the fight felt way more polished. The music gave it a cinematic feel… and they removed Garou redirecting RR’s attack which made it feel choppy. There are some nice new cuts that I appreciate but I wish they were implemented better.

Superstar animator Vincent Chansard on One Punch Man Season 3. He gives a very insightful perspective: “A lot of people blame JC Staff, but I think it’s a bit more complex. Sometimes it’s not about the animation studio… sometimes it’s about the production committees that are on top of everything and will choose… JC Staff is just a studio that is trying to survive”
