ALERT: California Highway Patrol officers engulfed in flames as a car explodes on the side of a highway. CHP was responding to 2 men pushing a vehicle on Interstate 215 in Riverside, and observers said there was fire beneath the hood of the car. 2 officers were walking nearby when the vehicle suddenly exploded and engulfed the officers in flames. Both officers were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the burning vehicle was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.

Michael Butler, 44, sent his Tesla 70 MPH into the home of Martha Ávila, 76, killing her as she was trying to put away groceries. Butler claimed his autopilot malfunctioned, but Ashok Elluswamy, Tesla’s head of AI, found that he floored the accelerator pedal and overrode the self-driving feature. “In this case, the driver manually overrode self-driving by pressing the accelerator all the way to 100% of the accel pedal in this residential area... They reached a speed of 73 mph during the crash, and had the accelerator pressed even after the crash.” Butler was charged with manslaughter and is being sued by the family of Ávila.

ALERT: S*x worker who was drugging men with fentanyl and then robbing them while they were unconscious was sentenced to life in prison. Tabitha Bundrick pleaded guilty to drugging 3 men with fentanyl laced-drugs, which killed them, and robbing them of their belongings. Mario Paullan, 42, Miguel Navez, 39, and Abrihan Fernandez Rodriguez, 34, all died while Bundrick stole their phones, wallets, watches, money, and clothing. New York City Police Department found 4 pairs of the victims' shoes in Bundrick’s home at the time of her arrest. Manhattan District Attorney Bragg stated, "As they laid unconscious, she robbed her victims and left them to die. In several instances, the victims' bodies were found by their friends or family members.” Bundrick was sentenced to 25 years to life for the murder charges and 2 years for assault.
