Something miraculous happened Sunday morning. After hitting our knees hard Saturday night, feeling lost, and just praying for God to make his will plain to us we woke up to a large donation specifically for a milking cow. So many of you fine people offered to redirect your fire relief donations to us, but we will never touch that money unless it's to help those it was promised for. We lost one, albeit an amazing cow, but there are people losing everything to the wildfires. Helping others through their hardship brings light in a dark time. Being able to be of service is a joy & we're able to because of you fine folks. So, because of this donation that was specifically made for the future of our farm, we're able to get a good cow, from a reputable dairy. No more Craigslist cows. We are beyond humbled. Beyond grateful. Seeing that donation had both of us in tears. God works so powerfully in our lives through you guys. I hope you know that. 🤍

Lots of questions, comments, and concerns about our tick eating machines we posted yesterday the Guinea Fowl. - First & foremost they're retarded -Loud AF Ours are actually pretty quiet, but they are great living alarm systems -Eat 300-1000 bugs a day Haven't had a tick or chigger issue since we've brought them onto the property -Can clear an 8' fence -Have been told they're aggressive towards roosters, but that hasn't been our experience -Apparently they're delicious -Wouldn't eat the eggs The noise & stupidity are big downsides for a lot of folks, but after experiencing our first summer out here with constant chigger & tick bites they're a huge net positive in our opinion to have on the farm.

In uplifting news my little sister has dedicated her life to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior ✝️ I found out she was baptized 6 days ago! After not attending church for 14 years she rededicated her life. Just over 4 years ago she was living in California captured by the LGBTQ+ cult mindset and identified as they/them. My parents finally made the decision to leave California and move to Arkansas, within several months she started disassociating with identifying as they/them when she was finally able to be alone and think for herself. I'm so proud of my little sister for escaping the death cult, for finally feeling comfortable in her own skin, for dedicating her life to god and growing into the woman she was meant to be.

We had to make the hard decision no one wants to make. She declined rapidly overnight despite Clint & the neighbors tending to her till about 1130. We treated & tended to her this morning, as well as a hail Mary of a "sling trick." We started a farm to make sure that the animals that provided us food had the best lives, living with dignity from their first till their last day here. We couldn't let Daisy suffer through another day with a feels like of 107°. Sometimes you just can't win despite all the professional help you get. From veterinary care, to other farmers & ranchers we had come & try to help her we lost the battle. Thank you all for your support and prayers. This is absolutely heartbreaking. She was our big girl, our grass puppy, our milk dog. She was family. We will still praise Him in the valley. "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." James 1:2-4

We got our first "commit suic1de" email for having a congressional candidate on our farm. This isn't even close to the first threat our family or farm has recieved. Yes, we recieve threats for providing raw milk which is even crazier. Aside from the death threats we recieved when I was running for city council in Austin. Never back down. Stand in your beliefs. These people are cowards who hide in crowds. For anyone worried about our safety, we live in a trigger happy community of people who have an active text chain of unknown cars that drive down the road which even includes service vehicles. Neighbors stand together here & run to the rescue. Not to mention our property has several security cameras & people who never leave it. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12

Water glassing is a great way to preserve eggs in a time of abundance for times of scarcity. All you need is a mason jar, water, pickling lime, and clean eggs with the bloom intact. We're eating sunny side eggs from January. 🍳

Daisy truly was a once in a lifetime cow. She was special. She was a cuddle bug, a gentle giant, a true grass puppy. She's now resting at the top of a hill overlooking a beautiful cedar forest & pasture down the road at one of our babies Grand God parents properties. The grief of losing her is deep, but we're choosing to focus on the joy she brought us during her time here. She was a blessing. 💔🐄

These last 7.5 years have been a real emotional rollercoster for christine and I. Seeing doctor after doctor and getting bad news after bad news. To the point one of our doctors told us we just couldn't have kids. Never trust a doctor as the arbortor of health and science. After getting a second opinion by the top fertility specialist in Austin, TX he found the issue the previous doctor caused in a matter of 15 seconds. After he fixed the problem we can now announce that Christine is 15 weeks pregnant with fraternal twins 👬 and having a boy and a girl. If you live in Austin I recommend you stay away from Dell Seton Medical Center Ascension if you are planning to have a family.

When we moved up here 3 years ago at this time & our pasture was nothing but thorny weeds. After only a year & half of rotationally grazing animals here it's unrecognizable. All ag chem free. We are so excited to get back into it. When we add sheep & chickens back in it'll be even better. When we can return to AMP grazing & moving them everyday, that'll be an absolute game changer. This method of farming is definitely a labor of love, but I can't recommend it more. 🐄✨

We had so many questions about water glassing eggs, I made a video about it. 🥚🍳✨️ How to: •Fill one ½ gallon jar with 14-17 clean eggs (depending on size) that have their bloom intact. •Mix 4 cups of water with 1 Oz pickling lime. •Pour lime/water mix over eggs, and make sure they're completely covered. •Screw lid on. Notes not addressed in video: •Obviously the fresher the better. We're currently eating through •February/March eggs & they're still delicious sunny side up. •The longer the sit the weaker the yolk will get, but they'll still make great scrambles.

Quick reality check for the clowns: We don’t have “customers” here, we have members. This is a private membership association farm, not some corporate retail operation you can Karen your way into. We don’t play the Yelp/Google review game either. No platform for anonymous keyboard warriors and fake review artists to hide behind. If you’ve got something to say, grow a spine and say it to our faces. We will gladly sit down and talk with any political candidate left, right, or otherwise who has the balls to step foot on our land. No death threats, no whining, no deep-state pressure campaigns will stop us from doing what real Americans do: asking hard questions of the people who want to rule over us. This is still America. We exercise our rights, we speak freely, and we don’t bend the knee to cowards or tyrants. Come correct or stay in the shadows. Your move. 🇺🇸

Everyone has their own feelings about Tractor Supply, but today is their "Farmers Market" day where they have local farms & vendors to sell their goods out front! Being able to park outside a store like TSC gives small farms the exposure in the community they may not get elsewhere & it's a major benefit. We got some of our very first farmshare members from that day 3 years ago. So please if you have a TSC near you it maybe worth checking out! "Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up." Romans 15:2
