HB 1255 requires students in grades 6–12 to watch a video on human embryonic development. Parents will have the option to opt their children out The bill requires that instruction in human embryologic development include a "high-definition, medically accurate ultrasound video showing the development of the heart and other organs and movement of the limbs and head." Rep. Dana Trabulsy carried the bill and it passed the House floor 86-27.
