Yesterday night we asked Mr. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu why the Ojota–Opebi Link Bridge is yet to be opened to the public. He informed us about his plan and mentioned that as one of his flagship projects the bridge incorporates an aesthetic architectural element similar to the Lekki Ikoyi Link Bridge, which was designed and executed by the Lagos State Governor Candidate and Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat #KOH during his tenure as Commissioner of Works. He promised that the installation would be completed and the Ojota-Opebi Link Bridge would be open for public use within the coming weeks.

I like what Dr. Olisa Agbakoba, SAN, OON did to Rufai Oseni here, and I encourage more people to continue to refuse his disgusting antics, conduct, and line of questioning on live TV. I am here for the ostracization of Rufai Oseni by guests of Arise TV. People have serious pertinent matters to discuss; however, Rufai Oseni keeps behaving like a circus clown.

This is Chioma Ajunwa. In 1996 she won Nigeria's 1st individual Olympic gold medal. After winning in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, she was promised a plot of land in Lekki by the Lagos State Military Administrator, Olagunsoye Oyinlola. It was never fulfilled. In 2021, 25 years later, Babajide Sanwo-Olu heard about it, and presented her with the keys to a 3-bedroom apartment at the Babatunde Raji Fashola Housing Estate in Iponri, Surulere. Amazing right? This is what Lagos has done for Chioma Ajunwa! Now... Seeing as she's from Ahiazu-Mbaise in Imo State. Question for the indigenes and former governors of Imo State: Achike Udenwa, Ikedi Ohakim, Rochas Okorocha, Emeka Ihedioha... What did Imo state give their daughter Chioma Ajunwa for making Nigeria Proud? I'll wait. Cos even the dreaded General Sani Abacha made her a Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) and gave her ₦1 million which was about $45,000 at the time.

Yoruba people have a saying - “Èéfín ni ìwà, a ò lè fi ọwọ́ bo" which translates to Character is like smoke; You cannot cover it with your hands. Mother of popular TikTok/social media personality EhisOjeks, Ireti Ojekhoa, has come out to defend Lola Okoye amidst the ongoing saga between the Okoye brothers. Apparently, they were close friends in high school over 20 years ago. May people vouch for us in our time of need.

So, under Rotimi Amaechi, the FG terminated BUA Ports & Terminals' concession. BUA, led by Abdul Samad Rabiu CFR, CON took the FG to London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA). The dispute was eventually settled out of court, and BUA regained its concession. Interesting how this flew under the radar.

World Bank's Country Director for Nigeria, Mathew Verghis' top quotes from this interview about Nigeria's economy. 1. "If you (the 🇳🇬 govt) want to deliver results to people (Nigerians), the money that you have on an annual basis is not enough" 2. "So you borrow, you get results and that will improve your ability to pay back" 3. "To be able to provide energy (power/electricity) to 32 million Nigerians, Nigeria needs to borrow money now. With increased access to energy, Nigeria will become a wealthier country" 4. "All countries borrow because investments are lumpy and large. The payoffs come in the future." 5. "Nigeria is moderately indebted, it has less debt relative to its economy than most of its neighbours like Ghana which is going through a debt restructuring" 6. " Nigeria doesn't have a high indebtedness problem, it has a low revenue problem. The critical focus should be on increasing revenues and that is happening. This will allow Nigeria to invest in its people & infrastructure. That will get them better jobs, better outcomes and lower poverty"
