Who's tried the mouse controls on the Switch 2 yet? It's a speedrunners dream imo! You get the frantic camera movement from the mouse while still retaining the movement fidelity of the left thumbstick.

Colleague from Atari sent me a video of his speedrun of the first Bubsy 4D level and um... It's amazing. This took him HOURS to pull off, uses a speed exploit and (obviously) skips all optional content.

Did you know that physics/animations get screwy the further a player travels in most game engines? We solve this in Demon Tides by covertly moving everything back to 0 while you swim in the open ocean. Once you enter a seamless island loading zone we briefly stop that logic.
