Rui Hachimura on Yuki Kawamura's preseason debut with the Clippers: "Nervous, but I think he did what he needed to do in the short time. You get more chances just to find his role and position, he'll be fine. For him, I always tell him to be him and play his game and he'll be fine."

Kendrick Perkins says Chris Paul was warned several times about his behavior before getting sent home. He went over coaches/players behind their back backs and was a negative voice in the locker room. Also implies that CP3 changing JVG's defensive coverage without permission cost the team a win.

Asked Kawhi Leonard about where he developed his famous work ethic from, and he gave a really insightful answer. Compared it to any job in life, whether it's being producer, basketball player, or a construction worker. "I was just being wise about it. With any craft, if it's being a producer, a rapper, or a basketball player, tennis player, they always talk about the work and the consistency. They go from all the greats in any genre or any aspect of a craftsmanship, it's always about work. Like I said, listening to music, studying different craftsmanships, from basketball and just overall anything. Somebody being a construction worker, building houses, it's always about the extra work and the extra hours you put in. That's what I took into my craft and wanted to be the best, one of the best to play, and that's what it is."

James Harden invited MSU shooting survivor John Hao and his entire family to the Clippers game tonight. It's a friendship that's lasted over two years dating from when he was 76er. Another example of Harden's special relationship with fans. "It's not just a one time thing. He had something was literally life-changing happen to him. For him to still be strong enough, we talked before the game and he's about to get his Masters. That's just something... you know, first of all, I don't even have a college degree. For someone to have something that's life-changing and still has the motivation to keep pushing and keep going - that motivates me. Just keep pushing in whatever obstacles I feel like I'm going through in life. Strong human being, strong man, and I'm just proud of him."
