Just because #ShilpaShinde admitted after 10 years that filing a false case against the producer of Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain was wrong does not erase the seriousness of her actions. By her own admission, the case was allegedly filed because her payments were not cleared, which, if true, amounts to a grave misuse of the legal system and could have severely affected another person's reputation and career. What is even more surprising is that many people are applauding her and calling her "brave" or "honest" for finally admitting the truth. Owning up to a wrongful act years later may be a step toward accountability, but it should not overshadow the harm caused by the alleged false accusation itself. If society starts celebrating confessions while ignoring the damage inflicted on innocent people, it sends a troubling message that the consequences of false allegations are secondary. A woman was caught on camera smashing a Royal Enfield Bullet after a chain-reaction crash in #Jaipur, where a scooter’s sudden braking near a culvert caused the biker to lose control and collide with her cab ahead of him. A few days back, a Delhi University (DU) student, Chitra Singh, has alleged harassment by a professor and pressure from college authorities, while other students reportedly gave statements against her, leading to a public dispute Chitra uploaded an Instagram reel where she shared her experience claiming she was mentally harassed by an unnamed professor over an internal issue. After she posted the video about the alleged incident, she claimed the Head of Department (HOD) pressured her to delete the post and that her admit card was withheld just before an exam. Her Instagram video created a sensation on social media with various news portals taking her side and sympathising with her, demanding justice. However, her classmates and some other students claimed that the story was one sided and that she made false allegations. One major counter-allegation is that Singh only attended three days out of a six-month semester. It is also alleged that she posted her classmates' private phone numbers online (doxxing) & defamed her. Students have claimed that the allegations by Chitra has taken a toll on the mental health of the professor. Many users claimed that the viral video itself is shaky, lacks context, and doesn't clearly show harassment, leading some to believe that Chitra's video is a social media drama without factual basis. A few days back, a Delhi University (DU) student, Chitra Singh, has alleged harassment by a professor and pressure from college authorities, while other students reportedly gave statements against her, leading to a public dispute Chitra uploaded an Instagram reel where she shared her experience claiming she was mentally harassed by an unnamed professor over an internal issue. After she posted the video about the alleged incident, she claimed the Head of Department (HOD) pressured her to delete the post and that her admit card was withheld just before an exam. Her Instagram video created a sensation on social media with various news portals taking her side and sympathising with her, demanding justice. However, her classmates and some other students claimed that the story was one sided and that she made false allegations. One major counter-allegation is that Singh only attended three days out of a six-month semester. It is also alleged that she posted her classmates' private phone numbers online (doxxing) & defamed her. Students have claimed that the allegations by Chitra has taken a toll on the mental health of the professor. Many users claimed that the viral video itself is shaky, lacks context, and doesn't clearly show harassment, leading some to believe that Chitra's video is a social media drama without factual basis.
