This afternoon, Edinburgh City Council will debate a motion submitted by Cllr Alex Staniforth (they/them, Green) condemning the EHRC guidance on the Supreme Court ruling and encouraging the Scottish Government to break the law. Deputations on this motion were heard this morning, including this passive aggressive and hyperbolic rant from 'Zoe' of the 'Resisting Transphobia in Edinburgh' group.

Didn’t notice a £1400 luxury coffee machine in her kitchen because “she has no passion for cooking” nor a £6000 set of custom-made fitted bookshelves in her ‘library’.
