Our first attempts at kicking a football. If I remember correctly, this is about the distance of an extra point, so pretty close. The stadium also has a permanently closed roof, which should make the atmosphere quite different from the other games we’ve been to.

We made it all the way to West Memphis yesterday. We didn’t realize it in the dark, but we can actually see the Bass Pro Shops Pyramid from our window. Now we’re trying to figure out what to do in Memphis today. It’s insanely hot outside, so we’re looking for something indoors.

There’s a puppy living right next to the road. We noticed it because it ran across the street while we were driving. What are we supposed to do now? We don’t want it to get run over. Is there someone we can call?

I don‘t know why I‘ve never heard about this stadium before but this looks iconic. 91,000 capacity! Also there‘s two pony‘s here on the Oklahoma side: Boomer and Sooner.

Walking around the University of Alabama campus at the moment. And some of these fraternity/sorority houses next to the stadium look absolutely insane. I can’t believe students actually live in places like this. They look like literal palaces.

We‘re here in Dallas for Texas Longhorns vs Oklahoma Sooners. I think today is gonna be a completely different experience, because it‘s being played at the Cotton Bowl right in the middle of the Texas State Fair.

Our first stop on the Texas road trip was a little town called Italy, where we practiced our football throwing skills before it got dark. As you can see, we still have a lot of room for improvement😅

Oklahoma’s touchdown after Arch Manning’s interception. Top 3 loudest moments I’ve ever experienced in a stadium! (The video doesn’t do it justice)

Nightly walk through Ann Arbor and a quick visit to the stadium of the University of Michigan. This is the biggest stadium in the US and the third largest in the whole world (107,601 capacity)🤯

The best discovery of our road trip has been a musician called Ella Langley. We had never heard of her before, but after hearing her on pretty much every country radio station, we’ve become big fans. She’s basically the soundtrack of our trip.

I’m surprised. I thought it would just be the waterfalls, but the whole city is like one giant amusement park. There’s even a roller coaster on top of Burger King.

Currently floating down the Comal River here in New Braunfels. Apparently it takes 3 hours to float all the way down, so we’ll have to see if we can make it before it gets dark🫣

We’re in New Braunfels, TX, and there are deer everywhere. Literally on every street and in every second front yard. It’s crazy how they just wander around the city and don’t seem bothered by humans at all.

The Great Texas Road Trip has started!🤠🇺🇸 The State Fair inspired us to drive all across Texas. Over the next probably 10 days, we want to make one big loop around the entire state and see as much as possible. I feel like this could be the coolest part of our whole trip! Any recommendations for places we should check out? Especially small towns or lesser-known spots!

Driving through Ohio. Towns like this are why we’re trying to avoid the interstates and take the slower roads instead. These are the kinds of places we want to see. This feels like peak America.🇺🇸
