BUT the way they’re made and the habits built around eating them can increase risks over time. Here’s what science does show: High sodium = hypertension risk Most instant noodles contain 1,500–2,000 mg of sodium per pack — almost your entire daily limit. Additives & preservatives Ingredients like TBHQ (tertiary-butylhydroquinone) and high MSG can cause inflammation in sensitive individuals and may impact gut health when consumed frequently.
