For 16 days, America came together. From all 50 states and 6 territories, we gathered in our nation’s capital to celebrate 250 years of American greatness. We rode the Ferris wheel at the Great American State Fair. We watched the rodeo, sang along to our favorite songs, and stood shoulder to shoulder with strangers who became our neighbors. And on the 4th of July, President Trump gave us the greatest celebration of America ever, with military flyovers shaking the sky and fireworks lighting up the night. 250 years ago, our founders pledged everything to the values we celebrated here: faith, family, freedom, service, and innovation.
