A little animation quirk I noticed in Sonic Mania: Mania's Spin has 16 frames. When MAX Velocity, the spin frames actually cut down to 8, same as S2 and S3&K's spin frames. Once slowing down, the frames revert back to 16. Not sure if the devs intended it, but I bet it is.
