Every Specialisation in Star Wars Zero Company feels great. One playthrough I was convinced I would never be able to play without certain characters, because they felt so strong. Every character I tried felt like this. That said, The Scout is probably always going to be an auto-include for me. Their primary Specialisation ability, Combat Recon, provides +1 Advantage Point for every enemy in the scan area. Coupled with a Blaster Pistol or Grenade, this can often get you to 10 (maximum) Advantage Points in the first or second turn.

One of my favorite features in Windrose (Windrose ) is the auto-deposit similar. Whenever you approach a storage box, you can automatically place all items from your inventory that are already in the box at the push of a single button. This is great for me because I play with Johnny, who I don't think has ever heard the word organized. Do you guys have a survival friend like that? You spend ages carefully placing and organizing boxes, just to be met with chaos every time they return to base? 🤣

Probably one of the single most important combat tips, the Backup ability in #StarWarsZeroCompany never misses! Remember this, and it will save your life time and time again. This is a huge bonus because it means you can target anything within LoS of your character, and although the initial shot may miss, the follow-up Backup shot never misses. Great for putting status effects on very distant targets or finishing off a retreating enemy.

A fantastic 3-ability combo is a great early-game tool for killing elite and boss enemies in #StarWarsZeroCompany Use Easy Mark on Kabb (Scoundrel). This guarantees Kabb will assist the next shot on a target Use Identify Weakness on Kabb (Scoundrel). This gives the target Vulnerable, guaranteeing the next hit is a critical Use Backup on another character and select Kabb (Scoundrel), then fire. When a backup opening shot is a critical hit, as is the follow-up shot. Attack from another character, guaranteeing a Critical Hit on the opening shot and Kabb's (Scoundrel) follow-up shot, with another shot to boot (You can also just blow everything up with a rocket launcher, but that only works once 😆)

Combat in Windrose (Windrose) can be BRUTAL. Undead, Crabs, even Pigs will kill you. Understanding how Posture works is key to surviving encounters. Perfect Blocks reduce enemy posture while maintaining player Posture. Reduce enemy Posture enough, and the enemy becomes stunned. Player Posture can be used to negate damage with a regular block, but like enemies, the player will become stunned if the Posture shields are emptied.
