Masaka-Mutukula Road is such a big shame to this country. How can we have so much goods and trade coming through that boarder yet we fail to see the importance of working on that road? The waiting areas where the trucks park before they go through the scan is close to a pigsty. Bisoooto everywhere. Kasassiro and unnecessary traffic caused by disorder. When you cross the boarder , Tz is the opposite. From the gate of entry to Bukoba the roads are clear and clean. How can we have leaders that have no shame in their blood system? No silly humps, no pot-holes and I hear it was constructed 10 plus years ago. We have no as a people of this country!!

Have you seen us at the Kololo Junction Traffic Lights 🚥 today? That was us: After the lunch date at Protea, I took the boys on a street vending challenge. The idea was to teach them to make pitch in 20 seconds and make someone buy an apple 🍎 or an orange 🍊. I gave each boy 3 apples to sale make sure they bring me back my capital investment but keep their profit. They had to learn to smile for someone in the car and convince them to buy an apple. They had to learn to fight for space with other street vendors because they also want to work. They had to find away to pay attention to the bodabodas while they walk through the cars. Above all, they had to learn to take “no” as an answer in case someone is not interested in buying. I taught them that sometimes people have a bad day and they don’t want anything to do with your products. They also learned that to make a sale , it’s not a walk in a park!!! Thank you for the people who passed by and bought from these boys …. Today is an experience for them to remember.

Yesterday, I escorted the girls to school. The school is nearby and they go cycling. In our Uganda a child lives in nansana goes to school at Kabojja in Kololo. That same child can’t commute by themselves. If they come cycling, they’ll be laughed at.

Jo juuzi I went to Caramel-Naalya but I don’t like that place anymore. Ekyanyiziiza kiri kimu… I wanted to have a decent meal 🥘 but they told me they don’t serve katogo kebinyeebwa. I kept quiet. As if that wasn’t enough… n’embasaba chai ☕️… they brought me one ka cup n’obukoola… but that wasn’t the problem…the problem was that the girl served me ng’anesiimbyeko!! How can you serve me nga wesiimbye nga omuti gwa masanyalaze ? Which kind of customer care is this? Part of doing good business is called “knowing your customers!!”. If you see a customer is traditional what do you loose when you serve him nga ofukamide. Ndi munyiivu nyo era they lost a good customer. Nze ssaagala joogo … Video yiiyo judge for yourself

Yesterday I went to have dinner at some Japanese restaurant called Yujo. Bamazeeko Amaalo gano!! First I failed to understand their menu!! Ogutabo gunene nnyo gukoma eri… Secondly the names are in Japanese. Nze kyenakoze kiri kimu… I ordered for rice 🍚 with some funny name and I sat and waited… mbu “chicken tariyako”!! I asked the girl byebiki bino?? Anyway they brought the food after 40 mins nga nzena nkooye. What annoyed me is that they gave me obutti bwaba chunguli to eat with , I hear chopsticks 🥢. I threw them aside after 3 attempts because they were delaying me nenkozessa wumma to quicken up my eating. I want to officially complain nti their bu rice 🍚 is too small!! How do they expect a traditional man to eat such a tiny ka portion and be full. Obumere butono atte babuseera okukamara!! Kitalo nnyo!! Enaleemu yeleesse ebizibu bino byonna!! I will never go back in restaurant yaba chunguli . They’ve lost a traditional customer. Ndi munyiivu nnyo

Today morning as I was jogging in Muiden - Nederland, I saw a big farm with such big big cows 🐄. I said to myself “ i will go and have look and ask abt farming. I know am not on appointment and don’t know these people but well if they welcome me, it wud be great, if they don’t, glad I would have tried.” I walked there. On my first sight, I met the wife who’s in her late 40’s. She was busy mowing grass. She smiled at me and I told her my issue. Well she said she’s busy but I can go ask her husband. As a big headed person I went to the husband, Pete. The guy is 54 yrs. He was busy fixing the farm tractor 🚜. Told him am Ugandan and interested in looking around to learn how their farm works. He said “yes”. And that was the beginning of the entire 2 hours I spent with them. He showed me the food, the milk and the milking by the robot. He showed me feeds. What surprised me is the attitude he has towards his farm. He has been on this farm since day one of his birth. The farm has gone through generations. It was started 200yrs ago and it’s still going on. In my time with him, I have learnt that the things we ignore most in Uganda 🇺🇬 are the things they take seriously. They work with a good attitude and get rich. Then the govt taxes them and gives us donations. Farming is their solution. They love and farm with passion. In our land farming is for the old. A child sells of their land to start a phone business at Kooki towers. Our mind needs to be reset.

Him: So what do traditional men do ? Traditional Men believe in Federal System of shared power. No one person should have more power of the other. Traditional men believe in the King and the Kingship. Why ? Because a King is born a King. He doesn’t need to be voted for. In Arusha this morning I caught up with with Mw Amos Wekesa and we exercised as marveled about Tanzanias 🇹🇿 progress. Progress Can u believe Arusha airport has now been made a fully operational International Airport? Meaning it will have immigration and anyone will be able to land there!! Arusha airport gets 273 commercial per week commercial. Politics Can u imagine Tanzania 🇹🇿 is in elections this October but no one is talking about it? Everyone is damn busy minding their business. We waste alot time in useless crap. Think beyond propaganda. Anyways nkomawo to have a meal at Caramel-Naalya. I hope that girl who served me without kneeling 🧎‍♀️is suspended by the time I reach. Ssimusangawo!!
