California wildfires are a crazy unstoppable force of nature. Years ago I experienced it firsthand when all the land around my farm burned literally up to my fence line in the Mendocino complex fire. Now is the time for public private partnership to cut red tape and deliver real solutions where people can remain near their neighborhoods with a bed to sleep today while they rebuild. We can ship 100+ houses ~tomorrow parked and setup on the street in front of the burned site locations to provide immediate shelter within the community if Governor Gavin Newsom would allow us permits to do so. BOXABL is uniquely positioned to make an impact here because we have already built the houses and we are close to SoCal w additional manufacturing capacity, have hundreds of houses in stock pre built and ready to ship that we could send to California TODAY this could provide immediate shelter and set the stage for a larger rebuild project in partnership with government. Our houses are already approved by California HCD We can also jumpstart plans to build other house models like single family or apartment and quickly rebuild fire affected areas. This is what Boxabl was created for Can I get an audience with Gavin Newsom to explain how our solution could immediately create shelter for displaced people? And long terms how our factory has the output capacity that California needs to deliver huge numbers of new housing to the state. I would love to show up w 10 Casitas tomorrow and drop them down right in front of the burned down houses in California, if we would be permitted to do so. Even steel and concrete cant withstand this type of inferno blaze, but the boxabl path forward is to build all future homes using steel frame construction that can accept fire resistant cladding systems in an effort to reduce the fire spread for future events.
