Imagine your stepmom is making your life miserable, you run to your dad for comfort, and he still takes his wife’s side 😭 That’s the kind of family tension Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story is built around. It follows Lizzie Borden and the events surrounding the infamous Borden family murders, but the family dynamics make it way more interesting than a simple true-crime story. I’m only a few scenes in and already stressed 😭 If you like dark family drama, mystery and true-crime stories, this is worth watching.
