By turning a simple Centaurian bow weapon into an all-powerful, auto-tracking kill-streak, Gunn backed the MCU into a corner where no street-level or mid-tier villain could ever touch him without massive plot armor. Look at the absolute panic on the Ravager's face in this corridor before getting impaled: zero counterplay, zero strategy, just an instant "I win" button that makes Hawkeye, Green Arrow, and half the Avengers look completely obsolete.
