Back when MTV tried to portray Pantera as "racist" by making a hitpiece based solely on the idea that "some have called" their lyrics "racist and homophobic" in 1994. They even got a guy, who they probably paid, to scream "white power" outside of an NYC venue. Whenever the news says "some are saying x", "reports that x", "or sources say x" it's just a lie. These are claims you can easily qualify yourself as a journalist (by reading the readily available lyric sheets), but the *idea of the speculation is what substantiates the attack, so the half braindead audience just hears the trigger words and that becomes their opinion now. You'd think it couldn't be that simple but it is.
