Charlie Kirk wasn’t racist. The real problem is that we have a culture too weak to handle truth, too lazy to seek context, and too eager to label everything ‘hateful’ when it challenges their worldview. It is not my job to hold someone’s hand and debunk every lie that’s been propagated about this man, especially with how readily available the proof is at our fingertips. So let’s be honest: these people choose ignorance because it’s easy, it’s comfortable, and it’s what they’re used to. And yet, the same people who preach about ‘black liberation,’ sure act like SLAVES to 30-second clips. They'd rather outsource their thinking to headlines, soundbites and race baiters than actually use their brain...probably out of fear that they’d be proven wrong and forced to abandon their victimhood. And the sad part is, the longer you cling to lies, the further you chain yourself to the very oppression you claim to be fighting against. WAKE UP.

Yesterday, I presented my case to the House Committee against Rhode Island's so-called 'Assault Weapons' ban. I hate identity politics, but many of these lawmakers have no problem pandering to Black and Latino voters when it suits them...SO, I decided to speak their language. 😉

What happened at Brown University hits close to home. This is an area I frequent often, and like so many Rhode Islanders, it’s a place I’ve always been told is “safe.” But feeling safe and actually being safe are two very different things. One of the reasons I chose to obtain my concealed carry permit is because I refuse to outsource my personal safety to policies that look good on paper but fail in real life. Gun-free zones don’t stop criminals—they disarm law-abiding citizens and create environments where help is always minutes away when seconds matter most. Rhode Island already has some of the strictest gun laws in the country, including magazine limits and expansive gun-free zones. Yet once again, those laws did NOTHING to prevent violence. And every time a tragedy like this occurs, the answer from our legislators is always the same: more restrictions on responsible gun owners who have done nothing wrong. We need to be honest about who these laws actually target, because it isn’t violent offenders—it’s people like you and me who simply want the ability to defend ourselves and our families.
