My Administration has: ✅Protected the Affordable Housing Trust Fund, making tens of millions of dollars available for new construction ✅Increased funding for the Down Payment Assistance Program, which will help nearly 3,000 first-time and first-generation homebuyers ✅Signed an Executive Order outlining a whole-of-government approach to tackling the housing affordability crisis ✅Advanced transit-oriented development projects, allowing more families to live near reliable transit ✅Delivered the largest property tax relief package in New Jersey history, targeting relief to those who need it most ✅Prevented landlords from using rent-setting algorithms to manipulate the market and drive up housing costs ✅Held a first-of-its-kind tax credit auction, generating $35 million for workforce and affordable housing projects across the state ✅Fully funded the Bringing Veterans Home Initiative, so no veteran has to go homeless

And while NJ TRANSIT is stuck with a $48 million bill to safely get fans to and from games, FIFA is making $11 billion. I’m not going to stick New Jersey commuters with that tab for years to come. FIFA should pay for the rides. But if they don’t – I’m not going to let New Jersey get taken for one.
