Reminder: Jagmeet Singh has trained in martial arts his whole life. From Taekwondo in his youth, wrestling captain, to BJJ, boxing, and Muay Thai. He’s competed in submission wrestling tournaments across Ontario, winning multiple golds. It's why he stands on business.

The partition of India was the largest migration in human history. Overnight, 14 million+ were displaced. Punjab was split in half. 1 million+ people died. This trauma still impacts our community. So no, I will not celebrate today. I will mourn and I will never forget.

This was not just an attack against Hardeep Singh Nijjar, it was an attack against Canada, and all those who believe in truth, justice and freedom. We must continue to demand justice until all those involved in this heinous act are prosecuted under the fullest extent of the law.

This November marks 40 years since the 1984 Sikh Genocide. We’ll never forget our brothers, sons, and fathers who were set on fire, nor the brutal violence our sisters, daughters, and mothers endured. The struggle for justice continues. #NEVERFORGET1984

They used voter lists to find Sikhs. They burned them alive. Politicians directed it. Police enabled it. 41 years later, no justice. The world must remember the 1984 Sikh Genocide.

Today, as a family, we will learn and reflect on the powerful sacrifices made by the #ChaarSahibzade and #MataGujriJi. We must make sure this history is never forgotten. Inspired by their courage let us all commit to fighting injustice in all its forms.

US intelligence agencies provided information to Canada that helped them conclude that India was involved in the assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. The FBI also warned American Sikh activists their lives were at risk. We need answers. We demand justice.

Any involvement of a foreign nation in the assassination of a Canadian citizen - on Canadian soil - is an attack on the sovereignty of Canada. We demand justice for the assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

The levels of violence, disinformation and hate coming out of India are concerning. Online calls for violence, particularly towards Sikhs, are on the rise, and disinformation is causing division and confusion. Now more than ever, we must commit to speaking truth to power.

13 Canadians warned their lives are at risk. Multiple Canadians murdered. Businesses extorted. Homes shot at. All on Canadian soil, all at the hands of the Indian government. India is not acting like a democratic nation— India is acting like a rogue state.

These words were spoken in the heart of one of Canada’s most vibrant Sikh communities. Anti-Sikh hate is real, and it puts our community at risk.

I went on CP24 to discuss the breaking news that India attempted to assassinate a dual American/Canadian citizen—a plot thwarted due to the intervention of American authorities. India is not acting like a democratic nation that abides by the rule of law.

Today, we remember Shaheed Jaswant Singh Khalra, a human rights activist who was murdered for uncovering the secret mass killings of Sikhs by the Indian government. Let us honour this great soul by continuing his struggle for truth and justice.
