Physical Culture Gym is a hardcore Powerlifting and Olympic lifting gym near(ish) me. I visited a couple times 30years ago. These two guys are nationally ranked strength athletes, but look what happens when they have a sprint race (don't know if they warmed-up). The dynamic demands of sprinting exceed pure strength training. If you are older i.e. 30up, and haven't sprinted for years, injury is almost guaranteed if you run a sprint race. It's incredible that a young kid can run full pelt with no training (and no warm-up) and be totally fine. [Note: The guy is laughing but a busted hamstring is no joke, it can derail your training for months, even years if it's a full tear]

God, I miss Switzerland. I've jumped off this bridge into the Aare (Bern) with my friend Sculptured Human The Aare is the main river in CH, flowing from the Bernese Alps to the Rhine. Just near here is Bern's free outdoor Swimming pool. Bern is the best preserved medieval city in Europe. Canton Bern (the Emmental) is where my Mum was born 🇨🇭
