My dad’s Workdays started with a simple idea: you can’t truly serve people unless you understand their lives. What began in a high school classroom grew into more than 400 Workdays alongside Floridians across our state. He worked their jobs, listened to their stories and learned about their lives. And as his daughter, I got to watch those experiences change him, too. Dad taught me that leadership isn’t about standing above people. It’s about standing beside them. Listening. Learning.
