This is mostly one of the only people that could get me to come out of a hiatus. I’m so devastated. I don’t know if anyone understands how much he meant to me or even to all of us. We still don’t really know how to accept that our KING legend has past over. Meanwhile we are here fighting the digression. I’m so grateful but even more thankful that I got the chance to meet him, and sing with him, and know more about him. I only wish we could’ve spent more time creating spiritually. I sincerely give my open heart to his friends and family. Thank you also to the bro J M. After all conversations that me and D had. The amount of times I listened to the Jazz cafe live album, studied the BGVS and arrangements. Had Brown sugar vs Voodoo debates. You wouldn’t believe. Magic isn’t the word. Inspiration isn’t the word. He was a spirit that was unspoken of. And still IS. The Soundtrack to my most important memories that started my career. What a handed gift of a person. Damn, i know we are ALL feeling a little sad. I’m really sad. All I can say is thank you god we all got to meet one of your LEGENDS… 🫶🏽
