As an organization that gave birth to a country, its pulse is connected with the common people of the country. Various anti-liberation forces in Bangladesh have made various efforts for the last 55 years to stop or destroy the Bangladesh Awami League, which believes in independence, liberation war, free intellect, non-communal consciousness, development and creativity. In continuation of this, the architect of independent Bengal, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was killed along with his family. The Bangladesh Awami League has been banned at various times and initiatives have been taken to suspend or limit its political activities. Many believe and politically assess that after the political changes that took place in the context of the student movement in August 2024, the anti-liberation forces united to bring down the then Sheikh Hasina government. Later, the activities of Bangladesh Awami League, one of the oldest and most traditional political organizations in the country, were banned. At the same time, allegations of arrest, harassment, and torture of thousands of Awami League leaders and activists have also come to the fore.
