General Upendra Dwivedi #COAS reviewed the Passing Out Parade #POP of 150th Course of #NDA. A total of 353 Cadets, including 18 Female Cadets & 24 Cadets from 12 Friendly Foreign Countries, passed out from the hallowed portals of NDA, displaying precise drill movements, flawless coordination and immaculate turnout. COAS congratulated the passing out cadets of and their proud parents on having successfully completed a demanding and rigorous training curriculum. He exhorted the cadets to strive for professional excellence and execution of responsibilities with utmost dedication & integrity. A spectacular showcase of #strength, #skill and #excellence unfolded during the Cadet Activity Display for the outgoing 150 Course at the National Defence Academy. The same was witnessed by General Upendra Dwivedi #COAS and proud parents of the Passing Out Course Cadets. The event showcased an ensemble of 275 cadets and 38 horses displaying their prowess in precision drills, acrobatics, battle routines and equestrian performances, demonstrating the immense amount of effort, discipline resilience and all-round excellence fostered at NDA. The display was further elevated by a thrilling para jump by the Akash Ganga team. The presence of dignitaries, mentors, proud parents and families added to the pride and grandeur of the occasion. On the first day of #Ransamwad, Gen Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff spoke on ‘Visualisation of #MDO.’ The Army Chief highlighted four main imperatives : the reality of a “Permanent Conflict” world, how a land force commander must read the battle across domains, how different domains interact in operations and how the Army is transforming #MDO from concept into capability. The #COAS said that #MDO is not about six domains operating in parallel, but of six domains in constant dynamic interaction with each other, where the weight keeps shifting and the lead changes. #RanSamwad2026 concluded with a powerful reflection on the future of warfare by General Anil Chauhan, Chief of Defence Staff, #CDS who gave a thought provoking closing address highlighting that the Multi-Domain Operations required convergence across physical, synthetic and cognitive realms. He also said that the discussions highlighted the urgency of faster and smarter decision-making in an #AI-driven battlespace and at a time when the OODA loop was itself evolving. Air Marshal S Shrinivas, AOC-in-C, TRACOMIAF_CMCC delivered the inaugural address at #RanSamwad2026, underlining that modern warfare is no longer confined to land, sea or air rather it’s a fast, interconnected “Multi-Domain” battlefield spanning cyber, space and cognitive realms. The key takeaway from the speech was that - victory isn’t about dominating one domain but integrating military, technological, economic and cognitive strengths. Future warfighters have to focus on three things: domain expertise, cross-domain awareness and adaptive thinking.
