As expected, the reactions quickly followed. But what became obvious was that much of the backlash had little to do with the substance of his analysis and more to do with the intolerance some people have for viewpoints that do not align with their preconceived narratives. What many of these online irritants fail to realize is that public discourse thrives on differing perspectives.
