🎬 Chokher Bali (2003) Some films don’t need loud drama to stay with you. Rituparno Ghosh’s Chokher Bali slowly pulls you into a world of loneliness, desire, friendship and betrayal. Binodini and Ashalata’s relationship begins with affection, but the complicated relationships around them gradually turn everything upside down. What makes the film special is how human its characters feel. Nobody is simply good or bad — they’re driven by emotions, insecurities and choices. Adapted from Rabindranath Tagore’s novel, the film carries a quiet intensity that still feels relevant. A beautiful piece of Bengali cinema. ❤️🎬 Have you watched Chokher Bali? What did you think of Binodini? #ChokherBali
