I saw a post on this platform stating that tomatoes are priced at R25 for 4. Expensive hey. The reason is obvious. Demand is outsripping supply because most workers on Z22 farms were of foreign origin. No pickers and the few tomatoes put on the market are pricey in order to recoup expenses.

The Zulus have closed the businesses that employed their own kith and kin. They have also looted from shops owned by their own and left their own destitute over night. Sources of livelihoods were lost,simply because of foreign nationals who owned businesses. Whites own businesses but are left untouched yet black owned businesses are the target. Time will tell when unemployment rises and they will turn on each other and crime rates escalate.

You do not build an economy by pushing foreign nationals out. Some provided services to the locals by being in business. Home Affairs has the capacity to hunt down those who are illegally there and arrest then deport them. Stop corruption at ports of entry. You do not destroy in order to start afresh. Use what is there and improve. Provide an environment which is conducive to investment not disinvestment. Did you know that the fall of SA's industry is a benefit and blessing in disguise to a neigbouring country.
