This is probably already obvious, but Shane Steichen made this QB decision without regard for the future. This was about 2025 and 2025 only. I wanted to make sure there was no confusion on this point.

Interesting comment from Colts CB Sauce Gardner on the final day of offseason work. Said he wants QBs to test him more because he’s eager for more ball production this season. He wants to be a legit playmaker, not just a cover guy.

Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner says he believes he has a strain not an Achilles tear.

I give Colts GM Chris Ballard a lot of credit for taking the temperature down between Richardson and the Colts. There was real tension there but it seems to have dissipated. And Richardson’s maturity has been a big factor too. He’s 24 and can still have a great future.
