This was Hossam during last year’s Eid. He was so full of joy and excitement. He told us he had spent the last few days of Ramadan preparing a celebration at a nearby school for displaced children. He believed that, even in the midst of everything, children still deserve to celebrate Eid. He brought happiness and hope into a world full of darkness. This Eid, Hossam is no longer with us. The school was bombed by the occupation forces, and many of those children are now gone.
