Multiple people were shot inside a Kroger Wednesday afternoon in the Cypress area, according to authorities. In a press conference, Cpt. Juan Flores said when deputies arrived at the scene, they found one man walking out of the store with a gunshot wound, and another person with multiple injuries inside. More than 300 people rallied Thursday evening at Texas A&M University in College Station, saying a new ban on teaching about race and gender is censoring classroom instruction and threatening academic freedom. A&M sophomore Madeline Kiser held a poster that read, "Don't cheapen our degrees."
