Ray Daniels agreed that, Kendrick Lamar’s “to pimp a butterfly” album was over hyped. They said, most people didn’t wanna be honest about the album, but according to them, majority of the people didn’t like the album. I never understood the hype behind that album; obviously, Kendrick Lamar’s “alright” is a big song in the culture but, that album is not what people claim to be. Even when, I look at the billboard 200, I can’t find it there, and the album is not that old, it came out in 2015, so if that album is that good as some people claim to be, it should still chart on the billboard 200.

The Kendrick Lamar’s podcast is realizing everybody close to Kenny is flopping, so now they’re saying, numbers don’t matter. They must be tired of seeing Drake running the charts again. Instead of saying numbers don’t matter; go make music that people wanna listen to. See, to these guys, numbers only matter when Kendrick Lamar is selling a lot; but as soon as they realize Kenny can’t compete with Drake; that’s when they don’t wanna talk numbers no more.
