A few hours ago during the swearing-in of the Deputy EC Chairpersons, it was time for photographs. Staff of the Electoral Commission were invited to join the President and Vice for the photo session. The EC Chairperson, Jean Mensa also joined them. She initially stood about three or four steps to the President’s left. Then I noticed something. Just before the photographs were taken, President Mahama asked the photographers to hold on and directed that she be moved to stand immediately to his left. I think that moment was significant. Sometimes, the smallest gestures speak volumes about recognition and the importance attached to certain office holders. And oh, throughout her stay at Jubilee today I think she was very relaxed. I mean… the way the likes of ASEIDU Nketiah, Joyce Bawah, Attorney General and Fifi Kwetey exchanged pleasantries was beautiful to watch.

I'm currently in Kintampo, touring the Bono East Region with President Mahama. I just bought this for only GHC10. On that note, I’ve decided to relocate from Accra. Thank you, Accra, the capital. You’ve been great!

After the Nasdaq closing bell ceremony, the U.S. Secret Service asked President Mahama to be driven to his hotel. He declined and insisted on walking to his hotel. I guess he enjoyed the walk! Must be tiring being President … like.. you can’t even step out for a walk that easy.

This morning Men of God across the World gathered to pray for President John Mahama at the World Assemblies of God Congress. Some prayed in tongues, Others laid hands on him. Archbishop Duncan Williams was right behind the President he held him by the shoulder and prayed. The key Prayer was; ‘God grant him not only human wisdom but divine wisdom’ Civil servants, appointees, citizens were all prayed for. The prayer was; Let there be PEACE among your people!

Military Training must be difficult. I’m at the Accra Int’l Airport this morning. The President is cutting sod for the construction of a Hotel, an Ultramodern Car park and a mall. Despite the rains, the female Military Officer is on duty. Unshaken and standing strong 💪

Yesterday in Philadelphia, when President John Mahama met Ghanaian students, I found myself uneasy as he began addressing the withdrawal of the Lincoln degree conferment. I was uncertain about the tone he would strike. Immediately he said, “Whatever disagreements have arisen, for me, Lincoln University holds a special place in my heart. It is where our first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, was nurtured intellectually,” It became clear that he had struck exactly the right note. Measured, respectful and reflective.

How Much Would You Pay for a House in Saglemi? Yesterday, the developer asked me to take a stroll through one of the nearly completed 3-bedroom houses and give him my opinion. I loved it. Spacious rooms, a nice design, good layout… the whole package. Then he asked me,
