Situations like this are clear proof that our society is either failing or has already failed in significant ways. As a religious leader, I feel we have failed woefully when our people are compelled to resort to entertainment-driven programmes, such as Lege Miami’s matchmaking shows, in their search for spouses. If our mosques and churches have been reduced to mere venues for preaching about heaven, while offering little or no practical solutions to the real-life challenges facing our youth and adults, then we have truly missed the essence of our mission. This trend reveals that we neither fully understand our faith nor apply it correctly in the service of humanity. Mosques and churches must rise to this responsibility by creating structured, dignified avenues for prospective spouses to meet. We must also institute proper due diligence processes to support those who genuinely seek righteous marital relationships in accordance with the teachings of our respective faiths.

This is between Àgbàdo and Agege. I was on the train while I took the video. If there is any way the Lagos State government can find a home for them, it would be better. Living like that makes them readily available for any use. Some of them commit crimes too. You can only imagine what life would be like at night in the areas where those things are built. It's not safe for anyone.

Should a blasphemer be killed? There is NO evidence for such in Islam, not in the Qur'ān and not in the Sunnah. The Prophet Muhammad (ṣallāLlāhu 'alayhi wa sallam) chose forgiveness and mercy even when he had the power to take revenge. People didn't submit to him because of coercion. He was never a coercive person. They submitted to him willingly because of his mercy and his beautiful character. Allah, the Creator describes him as a Prophet of Mercy for all humankind and jinn-kind (Rahmatan li al-'ālamīn). Share with others.

I recommend him and other fine scholars like him. I do not recommend scholars who fight openly and dirty, who abuse one another and make a mess of the Ummah by spreading gossip, blackmailing and slandering their purported opponents. In this video, there is everything but Islam, Dhikr or Taṣawwuf. In fact, there is everything that Islam prohibits in it and not a single thing that Islam permits. Those who follow these Azakiru and Azakira as they like to be called must understand that they are basically just following musicians. There is absolutely no difference between them and other musicians except maybe in their regalia or the names they chose to call themselves. They are far from Islam and their shows have absolutely no semblance to Islam. The vast majority of them are ignorant just as the people around them and their so-called Shehus who encourage them in these un-Islamic practices. They have neither the knowledge of Islam nor that of Taṣawwuf. Just vibes and dances. AstaghfiruLlah 🤲. May Allah protect us all from the evils of gatherings that desecrate the name of Allah. Āmīn.

In this video, Shaykh said he was a witness in the burial of a man presumed to be righteous but every grave dug for him rejected him until a grave at a place called Waduha in Kano from which a big snake emerged. They later found out that he desecrated the Qur'ān for money ritual.

This is how to train kids when it comes to Ṣalāh and other aspects of the faith. You wouldn't have to force anything if you teach in the right way. It's safer and better that way. Avoid urinating in stagnant water, under fruit-bearing trees, in the shade where people rest, on pathways, or in places where people gather, as these actions are prohibited in Islam. Do not be hasty when urinating. Avoid facing or turning your back toward the Qiblah while urinating out of respect for the direction of prayer. It is disliked to speak unnecessarily or mention Allah's name while in the toilet. Do not carry anything bearing Allah's name or Qur'ānic verses into the toilet, unless there is fear of it being lost or stolen. It is Sunnah to urinate while sitting or squatting, as this prevents splashing and maintains cleanliness. Men should gently shake or squeeze the private part (istinja with the left hand or tissue) after urination to ensure no drops remain, avoiding urine impurity on clothes. Use only the left hand to hold or direct the private parts during urination and for cleaning afterward. After urinating, wash the private organ with water and wash your two hands. If urine splashes on the body or clothes, wash the affected area immediately to maintain purity for prayer.
