Blessing and Grace committing crimes while hiding under Ḥijāb. We've seen too many episodes like this including one who tried to attack a Church while dressing like a Muslim. Until we begin to address criminals with their crimes, we would be inadvertently providing a cover for real criminals.

This is between Àgbàdo and Agege. I was on the train while I took the video. If there is any way the Lagos State government can find a home for them, it would be better. Living like that makes them readily available for any use. Some of them commit crimes too. You can only imagine what life would be like at night in the areas where those things are built. It's not safe for anyone.

Situations like this are clear proof that our society is either failing or has already failed in significant ways. As a religious leader, I feel we have failed woefully when our people are compelled to resort to entertainment-driven programmes, such as Lege Miami’s matchmaking shows, in their search for spouses. If our mosques and churches have been reduced to mere venues for preaching about heaven, while offering little or no practical solutions to the real-life challenges facing our youth and adults, then we have truly missed the essence of our mission. This trend reveals that we neither fully understand our faith nor apply it correctly in the service of humanity. Mosques and churches must rise to this responsibility by creating structured, dignified avenues for prospective spouses to meet. We must also institute proper due diligence processes to support those who genuinely seek righteous marital relationships in accordance with the teachings of our respective faiths.

What began as persistent leg swelling led to specialist consultations and a series of investigations, including an echocardiogram, blood tests, and a CT-gated aortogram. The results revealed a life-threatening enlargement of his aorta and severe aortic valve disease. A team of cardiac surgeons has now recommended a Modified Bentall procedure, a major open-heart surgery, as the only definitive treatment. The hospital has issued the treatment invoice, and we are appealing to everyone who is able to support this life-saving procedure. Should a blasphemer be killed? There is NO evidence for such in Islam, not in the Qur'ān and not in the Sunnah. The Prophet Muhammad (ṣallāLlāhu 'alayhi wa sallam) chose forgiveness and mercy even when he had the power to take revenge. People didn't submit to him because of coercion. He was never a coercive person. They submitted to him willingly because of his mercy and his beautiful character. Allah, the Creator describes him as a Prophet of Mercy for all humankind and jinn-kind (Rahmatan li al-'ālamīn). Share with others.

Yorùbá elders who possess genuine knowledge of traditional medicine should make deliberate efforts to pass that knowledge on to the younger generation before it is lost. This is a call to preserve indigenous scientific and medicinal knowledge, not a call to idolatry or religious syncretism. Every beneficial knowledge that promotes human well-being and does not contradict the Sharīʿah deserves to be preserved and developed. Today, counterfeit and adulterated foods, drinks, medicines, and other consumables have become a serious threat to public health. Too many people are driven solely by the pursuit of wealth, with little regard for the lives they endanger. The result is the spread of preventable diseases and the needless loss of lives. Muslims, in particular, must never be found among those who deceive, adulterate products, or profit from the suffering of others, for such acts are categorically forbidden in Islam. As Nigerians, we all share the responsibility of building a just, healthy, and trustworthy society. If we seek the pleasure and blessings of Allah upon our nation, we must be truthful, compassionate, and fair in all our dealings. Every act that harms another person,whether through fraud, negligence, exploitation, or deception, is a grave sin before Allah and a betrayal of our shared humanity.

I do not recommend scholars who fight openly and dirty, who abuse one another and make a mess of the Ummah by spreading gossip, blackmailing and slandering their purported opponents.
