Dar: We have discussed security issues including the presence of Fitna al Khawarij and Fitna al Hindustan’s elements on Afghan soil. Their continued attacks on Pakistan remained our top concern. Kallas: Pakistan has been locked in conflict with Afghanistan. The fighting in recent weeks has had grave humanitarian consequences and risks further fuelling instability and radicalisation. We have constantly called both sides to exercise restraint. Pakistan has the right to defend itself and its people in line with international law.
