Hamas terrorist militias brutally assaulted the women, beating them with their hands and clubs and firing bullets beneath their feet to terrorize them. They then went even further, abducting three women along with two infants. They left the two infants at a UNRWA school far from their families’ homes and took the three women to Deir al-Balah Prison. One young woman had her hijab ripped off after she recorded what was happening and refused to hand over her phone. Hamas gunmen also fired bullets between the women’s legs to terrorize them. They confiscated another young woman’s phone and told her to return the next day to collect it. When she did, they demanded that she pay for the bullets they had fired at her and the other women, as well as the cost of a phone they claimed had been destroyed during the attack. And after beating and terrorizing these women, they refused to allow the injured women to receive treatment at the hospital.
