The Herndon PD Chief stated that he is a Honduran National and FOX 5 DC states that, "[a]uthorities revealed that he is in the country illegally". Navarette Romero is accused of grabbing the victim on the W&OD Trail and assaulting her before she was able escape and seek help. Police are seeking other victims. Contact the Herndon PD if you have additional information.
