At least 20 people died after a fire broke out at a restaurant in South Delhi's Malviya Nagar area on Wednesday (June 03). Information about the blaze was received by the fire department at around 9 am, officials said. A woman was seen jumping off an upper floor of a building to escape the blaze and the smoke. At least ten firefighting vehicles were rushed to the spot to control the fire. According to a Delhi Fire Service (DFS) officer cited by news agency PTI, two water tenders, two water bowsers, a quick response vehicle and other firefighting units were sent as an initial response to control the fire, which broke out at the Lemon Green Restaurant.
