When Nikki switches to another ability, the gingerbread helper won't disappear. There are four gingerbread helpers who prioritize their specialty, collecting preferred resources within range before moving on to others: strawberry excels at fishing, butter at bug-catching, chocolate at grooming, and matcha at collecting items. They will collect their preferred resources and return to Nikki when they finish collecting.
