How it feels to be an American watching Canadians unironically boast about how they could beat us in actual combat. Just stop it. You couldn’t even beat us in hockey and curling, your own sports.

The replies are brutal.

Our Captain, Our Professor, Our eternally bald Shakespearean actor. No matter what Patrick Stewart did, he made sure it was memorable. While I loved his big roles as much as any, even his small roles felt bigger. Even when it was something as simple as firing a gun at the dirt

Happened to be in Target again and decided to check in on the “Fantasy” section. Unlike last year, any male-centric fantasy is nowhere in sight. It’s all Chick Lit and Booktok slop. Modern publishing hates male readers

WITH THEIR MANY EYES, THEY SHALL WEEP. WITH THEIR MANY LIMBS, THEY WILL CRAWL. IN THEIR MANY TONGUES, THEY SHALL PLEAD. IN THEIR MANY FORMS, THEY WILL FALL. SO SAYETH SPACE KING.

THE GAME’S PLAYING ITSELF, JON!

Modern Star Trek was destined to fail because the entire franchise went down hill after this happened

Why aren’t men reading more? What is the industry putting out there for them TO read?

GLITCH He. Guy. Jax is one of the bros.

As a kid, I heard Tim Curry’s voice in cartoons as much as I saw him in movies. Even in animated roles, you can hear how he put all of his Shakespearean weight behind any role. Especially his monologue as Captain Hook, which deserves special recognition. What was your fav role?

Sad state of affairs at Books-a-Million Sci-fi and fantasy used to dominate so many shelves. This is what I found. 😞

I fixed the Jax montage. Remember: Jax is for the Bros

We used to get adventure animation with real effort put into it. We ate good in the 90s. It must also be said this show had the most swashbuckling theme song ever put on tv or film. Cranks the adrenaline up to 11.
